Request for Volunteer Hosts at ART & BLOOM (1/26-1/28)
The League is requiring that CGC Members staff our January ART & BLOOM exhibit
and so we are looking for CGC Members to sign up for specific two-hour time slots to host during the show.
Hosts will need to be present to answer any questions (hopefully questions that might get visitors interested in joining the CGC); we will have printed materials describing the botanicals used in the arrangements.
Below is a list of dates and time-slots. We would ideally have TWO volunteers per time slot.
If you can volunteer, please send an email to NICKI KILFARA (nkilfara@hotmail.com), listing ALL of the slots you could be available.
PLEASE INCLUDE SLOT NUMBER, DATE and TIME.
You will be assigned to just ONE time slot, unless you specifically request more than one.
Once the schedule is finalized, you will receive an email confirming your assigned slot(s).

Looking ahead,
garden tour (still) needs a chairman
Last summer's Garden Tour was a resounding success, enjoyed by both Club members and the Concord community. Several gardens have already been volunteered for a Summer 2023 tour, but we are in need of a Chairperson to oversee the event. If you think you may be interested, please contact Johane Telgener (jtelgener020@gmail.com) to talk it over.
